There are thousands of openings for Nurses in the State of Utah and employment projections predict a 16 percent increase by 2024 (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics). Join this growing profession by becoming a practical nurse. Practical nurses assess patients’ healthcare status and responses to care provided along with administering medications, performing sterile and non-sterile procedures, and assisting with patient needs. Graduates from this program can articulate directly into the Weber State University RN program
