Kegan Oldham – Welding Technology

Kegan Oldham is Bridgerland Technical College’s Student of the Month for August. Kegan is a student in Welding Technology and has shown excellence in his investment to the program with a strong ability to excel!

Kegan is originally from Vernal Utah, but is currently living in Benson, Utah. He attended Logan High School and enjoyed participating in both football and wrestling. After graduating from high school, Kegan began working full time. Although he didn’t attend Bridgerland Technical College during high school, he decided it would help him further his career. “Welding Technology and Machining Technology have always been of interest to me and so BTECH seemed like the perfect option for me,” he said.

In talking with Kegan we began to see that he has an entire vision in mind for his life. It is very obvious to us and his instructors that he has set high goals for himself and is taking the right steps to achieve those goals. “I hope to one day start a business of my own using the knowledge and skills that I gain from the workforce, and from Bridgerland Technical College,” he said.

When Kegan is done with his Welding Technology, he plans to get a good paying job and continue his skill set and education even further by taking Machining Technology. We see Kegan going great places with a very bright future. Keep up the good work!
