Certificate Description

With data breaches and cybercrimes continually increasing, the demand for Cybersecurity Specialists continues to grow dramatically.  Industry experts predict cybersecurity positions to triple in the next five years.  This program will provide students with the necessary training to find a rewarding job in this industry.  The core classes will help prepare students to take the Cybersecurity First Responder or the Cybersecurity Analyst+ certification. The core will also provide training in cybersecurity tools and concepts.  The elective courses cover programming, digital forensics, ethical hacking, and mobile wireless security.

Prerequisites: Information Technology, IT/Web Technology, or Web & Mobile Development certificate or B.S. in Information Technology or higher (from a nationally or regionally accredited institution as approved by the Department Head), or related industry experience (as approved by the Department Head).

Step 2 - Complete Prerequisite(s)

Pre-Enrollment: Information Technology, IT/Web Technology, or Web & Mobile Development certificate or B.S. in Information Technology or higher (from a nationally or regionally accredited institution as approved by the Department Head), or related industry experience (as approved by the Department Head).

Step 3 - Enrollment and Registration
