Certificate Description

Become a Full Stack Developer learning about both front and back end processes in our Web & Mobile Development Program.

Students begin learning HTML5 & CSS3, the foundation of most websites. Additional core classes explore Databases (MySQL), server side languages (PHP), client side languages (JavaScript and jQuery) and how to make a website responsive using the popular Bootstrap framework.

Students can also choose various electives to become more knowledgeable in WordPress or Photoshop to create stunning websites with a friendly user experiences.

Students may also elect to learn more about back-end development which includes scripting languages such as Python and Ruby to interact with databases, servers, and APIs.

The Web & Mobile Development Program also offers many elective classes on related topics such as search engine optimization, photography, drone photography, videography, media editing and more!

Career Ready Assessment: Reading (Level 5), Locating Information (Level 5) and Math (Level 5). Assessment also includes: language expression (70%), language mechanics (70%). Step 2 - Assessment

Pre-Enrollment - Please note: A composite ACT score of 17 or a composite SAT score of 1210 can waive assessment requirements if taken no more than four years prior to enrollment. Please email your ACT/SAT scores to studentservices@btech.edu. If you do not have your scores, schedule your assessment below.

Step 3 - Enrollment and Registration

Once the Assessment/ACT has been approved, the next step is to meet with a Student Services Representative to complete your enrollment. You will declare your starting date, enrolled hours, and set up your payment schedule. No appointment is necessary.
