Digital Photography - Basic, Intermediate, or Portrait



Digital Photography - Basics: This is a basic class designed to teach fundamental techniques and principles for taking digital images. Camera use, composition, and design principles will also be covered. Students should have their own digital camera for the class. A DSLR is recommended to make the most of this class, but all cameras and skill levels are welcome. 

Digital Photography - Intermediate: Advanced photography techniques including shooting landscapes, portraits, events, product and commercial photography. Students will take their shooting techniques and learn to refine and edit images in editing software to clearly convey the emotion and story. DSLR or Mirrorless Camera required. Prerequisite: Completion of Digital Photography Basics or Portrait or instructor approval. 

Digital Photography - Portrait Photography: This is a basic class focused on taking portraits. Camera use and gear, exposure, composition, posing of groups and individuals, and lighting are covered. This class will also cover the basics of working with clients and running a photography business. Students should have their own digital camera for the class. A DSLR is recommended to make the most of this class, but all cameras and skill levels are welcome.
