Pet Microchipping Event

Our Animal Sciences program recently participated in a Micro chipping clinic for cats and dogs, co-sponsored with the Logan Police Department.

For only $10 community members had the opportunity to bring their pets over to Bridgerland Technical College and have their furry friend micro-chipped with a lifetime registration through petlink.net.

PetLink identification products alert everyone at-a-glance that a pet has a microchip, and can help speed its chance of getting scanned and returned to the owner. If you have a furry friend you would like to keep close for a long time, head over to petlink.net and see why microchipping is the right thing for you!

In Animal Sciences students learn animal restraint, nursing care, radiology, routine lab procedures, blood collection, catheterization, dental cleanings, administration of vaccines, physical exams, client services, front office duties, general cleaning of exam rooms and kennels, CPR/First Aid, etc. This certificate will prepare students to work at veterinary clinics or to seek further education in the veterinary field.
