Batty Bash at BTECH
This Halloween our second annual “Batty Bash at BTECH” event was a huge success.
We were thrilled to invite the community to our trick-or-treating activity because it gave us the chance to meet new people from all over the county. Our staff worked hard to make the event special for the participants. We placed spooky decorations and lit pumpkins in the halls for the trick-or-treaters to follow to each candy stop.
We had the best spook ally with Halloween-themed lights and a fog machine at the end to give a haunted feel to the dark hallway.
Halloween music was heard from all around the school and some participants could be seen dancing their way down the halls.
There were a lot of creative costumes from all of our staff members. Almost all of our programs decorated their doors for our school-wide door decorating contest. Some of the door themes included: Stranger Things, Grease, Monsters Inc, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Our furry friends from the Animal Sciences program were excited to get into the Halloween fun! They brought their animals in costume over to visit with the young community members.
The event lasted for about three hours, and BTECH was more than happy to spend that time with the members of the community. Many people came dressed in costume, showing off their creative personalities. We were excited to see our community come together and to have a chance to provide them with a safe, family-friendly Halloween activity.
