Governor Spencer J. Cox Visits Bridgerland Technical College
On August 30, 2021, Bridgerland Technical College was honored to host Governor Spencer J. Cox and the Cache Valley Chamber of Commerce for lunch! In addition, local legislators were present; including, the Mayor of Logan City, Holly Daines; the Utah Commissioner of Agriculture and Food, Craig Buttars; Senator Chris Wilson; Representative Casey Snider; Representative Dan Johnson; and Representative Mike Petersen. Many other key business and community leaders were also in attendance.
The Culinary Arts program prepared a delicious meal for the occasion. The mouth-watering menu included a Caprese salad, Rosemary roasted potatoes, and a beef fillet. Dessert was a rich pumpkin swirl cheesecake.
But the real treat was hearing from the governor. His positive and encouraging thoughts about BTECH and what technical education means to the state inspired all attendance. Thank all those who participated and made the amazing event possible.
