Amy’s journey to Bridgerland Technical College was influenced by her family’s positive experiences at the school. Hearing their praises and witnessing their pursuit of further education inspired her to enroll. The flexibility of BTECH’s schedule and its hands-on approach resonated with Amy, allowing her to learn efficiently, particularly in her role as a PLC technician. Currently employed as a line mechanic, Amy seized the chance to enhance her skills by enrolling in courses at BTECH. Despite initial doubts and being one of the few women in her class, Amy found unwavering support from both teachers and fellow students. Their encouragement fueled her determination, proving that with perseverance and a supportive community, anything is achievable. Amy aims to inspire other women to pursue careers in male-dominated fields, driven by the satisfaction of crossing off each course completed and the feeling of accomplishment that follows. With dedicated instructors and a welcoming environment, BTECH has become a stepping stone towards Amy’s bright future.
