IPC-J-STD-001 CERTIFICATION
Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies
Expand your skills and become a certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) in IPC-J-Standard-001 for soldered electronic assemblies, the industry-standard program for hand and machine soldering processes and material requirements. This workshop includes hands-on training from a Certified IPC Trainer (CIT) and the Optional Space Addendum module, which requires four days of mandatory attendance. Seating is limited to 8. Textbook and materials are provided.

Renew your certification for IPC Application Specialist (CIS) in IPC-J-Standard-001. Recertification requires 2 out of the 4 days available to get recertified.

Enhance your skillset in rework, modification, and repair of electronic assemblies with the industry-recognized IPC 7711/7721 certification. This comprehensive training includes hands-on instruction,  working with professional-grade tools, materials, and rework kits to develop and refine your skills. All necessary supplies, materials, text, and certification testing fees are provided to ensure a complete learning experience.

Prerequisite: Participants must have prior electronic component soldering experience or J-STD
certification to enroll in this course.

Learn the basics of AC circuits, waveform parameters, transformers, time constants, and reactance in capacitive and inductive circuits. Topics include use of meters, power supplies, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and troubleshooting. A final project will be soldered. All parts, text, and materials are provided.

Expand your skills and become a certified IPC Application Specialist (CIS) in IPC –A – 610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies. This is the electronic industry’s most widely used inspection standard and will be taught by a Certified IPC Trainer (CIT). Seating is limited to 12. Text and materials provided.
