Fashion Merchandising and Development Fall Fashion Show

November 7th and 8th was the biannual Fall Fashion show at BTECH. This show is put together in the fall and spring by our Fashion Merchandising and Development program with the help and support of BTECH staff and faculty members.

We are always thrilled to show off the talents of our students and this show gives us the perfect opportunity to do just that.

The event featured clothing lines from many of our local vendors, including a premier sponsorship from Red Poppy Event Rentals. There was also a special collection that showcased the talents of students Ariel Campos and Mia Hilton. They both co-designed a collection of six outfits and present them on the fashion runway.

The collection was described by instructor, Hailey Ropelato, as being “different from any other student collection they have had in the past”. Hailey praised her students phenomenal work ethic and the ability to work together, even though their personal styles were very different. They combined two different styles of edgy and feminine blended nicely together to create a unique display.

The students of the Cosmetology/Barbering program at BTECH were responsible for helping style the hair of each model on the runway. We were excited to to showcase the talents of two of our programs

The event was also sponsored by several local companies such as Maurices, Buckle, Old Navy, Petals and Promises Bridal, rue21, GLO Mobile Tanning, The Smooth Shop, Yogurtland, Moxie Mae, Del Taco, Johnny O’s Spudnuts, Firehouse Pizzeria, The Waffle Iron, Elevation Rock Gym, Old Chicago, Megaplex Theatres, Swig, Foxy Nails & Tanning, Erin Holmstead Photography, Off Premise Catering, and Red Poppy Rentals.
