Full House at Welding Technology Open House
Welding Technology at Bridgerland Technical College hosted their annual Friends and Family Open House on Thursday, March 1, 2018. It was a full house with more than 200 people in attendance and ready to Get Their Tech On!
The evening included demonstrations of the various welding processes students master in the program and BTECHs unique hands-on approach to learning. Instructors highlighted the many options students have upon graduating from the program, including going directly into the workforce as skilled welders, continuing their education at Utah State University utilizing the stackable credentials option, or both.
Industry experts and members of Advisory Committee for Welding Technology were on site to discuss job opportunities in the welding industry and the future of industrial welding trades. Everyone in attendance was treated to a dinner of grilled hamburgers, served with all the fixings. A great time was had by all!
