Governor Herbert Meets Our BTECH Student of the Year
Amanda Bunnell and Student of the Year recipients from technical colleges around the state had the pleasure of meeting Governor Gary Herbert this past month.
There were also honored with a special gala held at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Amanda spoke of her inspiring life and school experiences while moving the crowd before her. She proved to everyone what we already knew; that she is an amazing person with strong skills and capable of handling difficult situations.
Speeches were also given by other students and their words added to the encouraging atmosphere. Everyone at the conference was impressed by all the chosen students. We are so proud of Amanda and the wonderful job she did representing our school at this momentous occasion.
