Halloween – Spooks, Soups and Scares
Pumpkins, goblins, and spooks OH MY! We had so much fun this Halloween with a variety of activities.
At our Brigham City Branch campus, our Cosmetology/Barbering program had a mannequin head decorating contest. The theme was scary movies from the 80’s. Each of the students had to decorate a mannequin head that fit that theme!
We also had an amazing trick-or-treat event where the public was invited to dress up in scary costumes and trick or treat from classroom to classroom to collect some delicious treats. There were so many cute costumes! Thank you to all who came and participated in this fun event!
Our Soup-N-Spooks faculty and admin event was a HUGE success. Faculty and staff gathered for a giant pot luck as well as a costume contest. The costume contest that went on between our faculty and admin brought out some unique creativity! Our 1st place winner was the Financial Aid department dressed as Donna and The Dynamos. Our 2nd place winner was Student Services who transformed their offices and costumes into a complete Harry Potter world. Our 3rd place winner was Scottie and Jason from the Meat Services department who dressed as each other! Thanks to all who participated in this event and congrats to our winners! It was so much fun to see all of the faculty dressed up and having a wonderful time enjoying laughter and soup together!
One of the cutest events was the animal costume contest that our Animal Sciences department put on. We had cats and dogs dressed like vampires, Bob Ross, hot dogs and fairies. What a fun way to get our furry little friends involved in this great Halloween event!
Our Business Technology program has a huge party for their students! Who doesn’t love treats and dressing up? These students sure love what they do!
The Culinary Arts department had a festive party as well that involved a fortune teller, food and treats disguised as eyeballs, ingrown toenails, and pumpkin fields and a costume contest. The creativity these students have is just remarkable!
One of our last events that involved not only the faculty and students but the whole community was our door decorating contest! It was so much fun to see everyone get involved and to see all the creativity that came out during this time. Here are the winners!
