Practical Nursing Celebrates National Nurses Week
The Practical Nursing program celebrated National Nurses’ Week with food, fun, and friendship!
Dr. Whitney Collins came to the College and presented on pursuing professional dreams even in times of personal struggles. First and second semester students, along with faculty, were in attendance are were able to ask questions.
Students were given a box lunch and jerky from Meat Services. Students and faculty were given bandage scissors, jerky, and a mug or drinking cup encouraging them to: “stay sharp, replenish themselves, and not let anyone ‘jerk’ them around.”
We are so grateful for the nurses in our lives!
