It’s Technology Week at BTECH! We’ll be updating this page daily, so keep checking back to see what’s new.

The idea behind Technology week is to showcase the value of technical education and give you a behind the scenes look at our programs and students.

We’ll also be giving away great prizes. You can win an Echo Dot and a free hour at the new EXIT virtual reality arcade. All you have to do is participate!

Post a pic of yourself at BTECH on Facebook or Instagram and include the hashtag #GetYourTechOn. Each post will earn you an entry. Not a current student? No problem! Visit our table at the main campus and we’ll give you a cookie and an entry.

It’s a great time to stop by and see what we’re all about!

Wednesday: Get Your Tech On Workshop “How to Wire a Lamp in 9 Easy Steps”

BTECH Electronic Engineering Technology instructor Lauri Sorenson demonstrates how to wire a lamp. Added bonus: she treats us to a 30-second lesson about circuits. Did you know that all of the programs at BTECH are hands-on? Just as the video demonstrates, our students apply what they are learning in a real-world environment so they have the skills to go along with the knowledge they are gaining. Now that’s a bright idea!

Tuesday: Tech Talks “BTECH to USU with Stackable Credentials”

Did you know that you can transfer your BTECH certificate to USU for 30 credit hours towards your A.A.S. or bachelor’s degree? John Robinson is a BTECH graduate who took advantage of this opportunity. His only regret is that he didn’t start at BTECH sooner!

Monday: Kickoff and Cookies

Everyone is welcome to stop by our table to grab a free cookie, learn how to win an Echo Dot or free hour at the new EXIT virtual reality arcade, and share how you Get Your Tech On!
