Power BI Introduction 12-hour course
Upon completion of this 12-hour course, students will be able to:

• Explain how Power BI can be used to analyze and visualize data for an organization
• Identify the names and purposes of the different versions of Power BI
• Connect Power BI to various data sources including a spreadsheet, CSV text file, database, and web-based data sources
• Use Power BI to prepare data for analysis
• Create a data model for reporting purposes
• Create multiple data visualizations in a Power BI report
• Create a Power BI dashboard

 

Power BI Intermediate 12-hour course
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Determine which visualization is best for communicating information
• Enhance visualizations with text boxes, shapes, and images
• Make visualization interactive with buttons, bookmarks, slicers, and more
• Create a solid data model with a star schema, date tables, and hierarchies
• Create DAX calculations and measures
