Class Description
“RCRA Hazardous Waste Management” is a course that teaches the fundamentals of the Environmental Protection Agency’s rules found in 40 CFR Parts 260–279. The course walks participants through all aspects of hazardous waste management from identification to disposal.
Training begins with identifying hazardous waste at its point of origin, continues with proper onsite management including labeling and storage requirements, and concludes with procedures for shipping waste offsite to a treatment, storage, or disposal facility.
The EPA requires annual training for anyone involved in hazardous waste activities, those who manage hazardous waste, or those who supervise employees handling hazardous waste.
Books & Supplies: Any required books, software, or materials will be communicated prior to the start of training.
