Description
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management” is an 8-hour course that teaches the fundamentals of the Environmental Protection Agency’s rules found in 40 CFR Parts 260-279 (aka RCRA). The course is designed to walk participants through all aspects of hazardous waste management. The course starts with identification of hazardous wastes at their origin, continues with how to manage the waste onsite including waste labeling and storage rules, and continues to shipping the waste offsite for disposal at a treatment, storage, disposal facility. The EPA requires that anyone involved in hazardous waste, that manages hazardous waste, or that manages those involved in hazardous waste complete training annually.
