Smoking
The Utah Indoor Clean Air Act contains the law regarding smoking in Utah.
The law was created to protect individuals from the dangers of secondhand tobacco smoke and was later expanded to include e-cigarette vapor. The Act generally prohibits all forms of smoking in places of public access. This includes all buildings operated by Bridgerland Technical College. Smoking is also prohibited within 25 feet of any building entrance, exit, open window, or air intake.
Bridgerland Technical College endorses this law and expects all employees, students, and visitors to comply.
See Policy 341: Smoking (policies page) for more information.
