Video Creation for Start-Ups and Small Business - Custom Fit
Class Description
The Video Creation for Start-Ups and Small Business course teaches entrepreneurs how to take an idea and turn it into a finished, strategic video using everyday tools like your phone
This course breaks down the filmmaking process into a clear, repeatable workflow, guiding students through planning, filming, and editing with intention. From crafting a compelling hook to delivering a clear message with purpose, students will learn the storytelling mechanics that make content not just watchable, but effective.
We focus on the core elements that elevate video quality: lighting, composition, audio, and editing, while introducing practical techniques that bridge the gap between DIY content and professional production. Paired with a strategic marketing lens, students will learn how to create videos that don’t just look good, but actually perform.
By the end of this course, students will have produced a complete video and will walk away with the confidence, tools and clarity to create consistent, impactful content strong enough to represent their brand.
Prerequisite
No prior video production experience required. This course is built for beginners and business owners ready to create intentional, strategic video content. All you need to get started is a newer smartphone and a laptop or desktop computer for editing. We’ll guide you using free and low-cost editing platforms, so you can focus on the story, not the price tag.
