Medical Terminology - High School
Course Description
This class enables students to understand the language of medicine, which is based on Greek and Latin. Students learn the terminology used in medical coding, medical assisting, nursing assisting, nursing, physical therapy, and all other health-related fields. This is a prerequisite for the Practical Nursing program at Bridgerland Technical College. This course is strongly recommended for students who plan to pursue a healthcare career. (Students must earn 80 percent or higher in the course to demonstrate competency requirements for BTECH programs.)
Books & Supplies: Any required books, software, or materials will be communicated prior to the start of training.
