General Info

Financial Aid/Other Sponsorships

The Federal Pell Grant, scholarships, and benefits for veterans are described above. Other funding sources are available to those who qualify. Bridgerland Technical College works closely with various government and private agencies who may sponsor adult students. Agencies include Department of Workforce Services and Utah State Office of Rehabilitation. Questions regarding services rendered should be directed to the agency.

Though the aid you receive may cover much of the expense you accrue at Bridgerland Technical College, it may not. Learn more about Managing Your Money so you know where your money goes and can avoid financial crisis.

Students who are offered Federal Pell Grant funds or scholarships, receive veteran benefits or payments from an outside agency, or accept any other source of financial aid have an ethical responsibility to that entity to use those monies appropriately. By accepting funds, students understand and agree all awards are subject to him/her meeting satisfactory academic progress and attendance requirements. Any changes in status (course/program withdrawal, enrolled hours, progress, etc.) must be immediately reported to the College by the student. Changes in status that affect a student’s eligibility may result in unearned aid (overpayment) of which the student personally accepts responsibility for returning (repaying) as may be required.

Loan Programs

Bridgerland Technical College does not participate in, or endorse, any loan program. Bridgerland Technical College does not encourage student participation in any loan program, and does not accept responsibility regarding any information, advertising, processing, certification, student tracking, repayments, etc., associated with any loan students may secure in regard to enrollment at Bridgerland Technical College.

*Note: This is a summary; further information regarding student eligibility for Federal Pell Grant and benefits to veterans is available in the Financial Aid Office. More information on Scholarships is available in the Scholarship Office.
