3D Apparel Design 1
Students will learn the basics of navigating and creating in CLO, a cutting-edge, 3D fashion design software. In CLO, students will navigate in 2D and 3D environments.  They will utilize digital sewing, and tools for creating and editing patterns, to draft and create a bomber jacket. Students will have the opportunity to expand their design capabilities, produce faster and more accurate apparel renderings, and obtain skills that industry leaders are actively seeking. Space is limited.
Objectives:

  • Demonstrate the ability to operate CLO design software.
  • Practice new tools in navigation, sewing, and editing patterns.
  • Modify and create bomber jacket patterns.

3D Apparel Design 2
This course will provide an extension of skills gained in 3D Apparel Design 1. Students will learn the basics of navigating and creating in CLO, a cutting-edge, 3D fashion design software. Using CLO, students will build on what they’ve learned to add construction details and notions, use presentation tools, and create a complete look with a bomber jacket, pants, and top. Students will have the opportunity to expand their design capabilities, produce faster and more accurate apparel renderings, and obtain skills that industry leaders are actively seeking. Space is limited.
Objectives:

  • Demonstrate the ability to operate CLO design software.
  • Practice new tools in construction details, notions, and presentation tools.
  • Modify and/or create a complete outfit with functioning patterns and 3D apparel renderings in CLO.

3D Apparel Design 3
This course will provide an extension of skills gained in 3D Apparel Design 1 and 2. Students will be able to apply their knowledge to create three items of their choosing. Students will have the opportunity to expand their design capabilities, produce faster and more accurate apparel renderings, and obtain skills that industry leaders are actively seeking. Space is limited.
Objectives:

  • Demonstrate the ability to operate CLO design software.
  • Modify and/or create functioning patterns and 3D apparel renderings in CLO.

A minimum of 5 students must register to run the class.

Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds, in whole or in part, will be given on or after the first day of class.
