Welding - Skills Development
Welding Skills Development Lab
This course is designed for individuals currently working in the welding industry who want to increase their skills through hands-on lab practice in a variety of available welding processes.
Students will work directly with an instructor to determine which welds and processes will be completed based on individual goals and experience.
Course Structure
The 30 hours of lab instruction must be completed within the scheduled date range of the current class.
Important Notice
This course does not allow students to complete official welding qualification tests. Practice tests only are permitted.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class.

After logging in, follow these steps to register for Continuing Education courses in the MYBTECH portal:
- Log in to the MyBTECH portal.
- Click the Continuing Education tab.
- Select Register for CE.
- Choose Add/Drop Courses.
- Change TERM to Continuing Education.
- Enter the registration code listed with the class dates to find your course.
- Select Add and complete payment.
