Description
This 4-week course is designed for photographers who already know their way around the basics of Lightroom and are ready to dive deeper into creative control, retouching techniques, and advanced editing tools. Whether you're looking to streamline your workflow or push your creativity, this class will help you get there.
We’ll cover tools and techniques that go beyond sliders—masking, color grading, local adjustments, and tips for creating your own editing style. You’ll leave with a faster workflow, a stronger eye for color and detail, and a portfolio of polished images.
What You’ll Learn:
Advanced editing tools in the Develop Module
Retouching techniques for portraits & landscapes
Creative color grading & using presets intentionally
Smarter exportin and backup strategies
Hands-on editing with real-time feedback & tips\
Requirements:
A laptop (Mac or PC)
Lightroom Classic: installed and ready to use (Not Lightroom Mobile)
Basic Lightroom experience or completion of the Beginner Lightroom class

Erin Holmstead—a visionary beauty and commercial portrait photographer based in Utah, originally from Kentucky. With a passion for pushing creative boundaries and over 10 years of experience, Erin captures moments, tells stories, and evokes emotions through captivating images. As a contributor to Photofocus, Erin shares insights and expertise. Having spoken at photography conferences, Erin loves educating and inspiring others about the art of photography.
