Phlebotomy Technician

This course provides hands-on practice combined with classroom and laboratory instruction to prepare students for entry-level phlebotomy work.

Lectures cover basic and advanced phlebotomy topics, including the healthcare setting, an overview of the human body, blood collection procedures, and special collection procedures.

Hands-On Experience

Students will have the opportunity to practice blood draws on classmates and volunteers in a supervised laboratory setting.

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, students are eligible to take the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam.

The CPT exam fee is not included in the cost of the course.

Eligibility Requirements

Students must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in this course.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class. (Policy 900.920)
