QuickBooks Comprehensive (Online Application Version) – Self-paced Course

This course covers the fundamentals that every business will experience at some point in time. Topics include:

  • Creating a company
  • Creating accounts, customers, and vendors
  • Working with customers and vendors
  • Balancing the checking account
  • Working with inventory
  • Working with sales tax
  • Using Balance Sheet accounts
  • Introductory payroll concepts
  • Using estimates and time tracking

Students may complete the QuickBooks certification exam if they choose (additional fee of $103).

Self-Paced Business Courses

These courses are competency-based, allowing you to progress at your own pace as your schedule permits while demonstrating your skills and knowledge through a variety of assessments (assignments, concepts and skills reviews, and a final project).

Each course is designed to be completed in 60 calendar days. It takes discipline and determination to be successful in online coursework. You are in charge of your own progress.

To help you pace yourself through the course, you should develop a study schedule using the estimated course hours.

During this time you will have online access to quizzes, assignments, and correction keys. You will also have access to the Business computer labs as needed.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class.

Registration

After logging in, follow these steps to register for Continuing Education courses in the MYBTECH portal:

  1. Log in to the MyBTECH portal.
  2. Click the Continuing Education tab.
  3. Select Register for CE.
  4. Choose Add/Drop Courses.
  5. Change TERM to Continuing Education.
  6. Enter the registration code listed with the class dates to find your course.
  7. Select Add and complete payment.
