Basic Welding for Golden Learners
Description
Learn oxy-fuel and arc welding processes by completing hands-on modules. Thermal cutting processes will also be explored.
This class requires Safety Glasses, Welding Gloves, Pliers, and Oxy-Fuel Goggles (can be purchased at the bookstore). Long pants, long sleeves or a welding jacket, and closed-toed leather shoes/boots are also required.
Refund Policy
Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds, in whole or in part, will be given on or after the first day of class.

Instructor
Jesse Shaffer is the Department Head of the welding department at Bridgerland Technical College. He is a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) with a Master's Degree in Career and Technical Education from Utah State University. Before being an instructor at Bridgerland, Jesse taught high school Ag and Welding.
