Launch your business with confidence. This hands-on class walks you step-by-step through every part of officially setting up your business. Across two sessions, you’ll:

- Get your EIN (if needed)
- Learn the basics of branding, planning, funding, marketing, sales, banking, & deductions
- Understand your basic ongoing responsibilities as a business owner
You’ll finish the class with your business fully set up, nothing missed, and a clear understanding of what you did and why. Perfect for anyone who wants guided support and peace of mind while making their business official.
Course Instructor
Mark Alexander is Director of the Business & Innovation Hub at Bridgerland Technical College. A USU graduate, Mark has been Vice President of two manufacturing companies, has started, grown, and sold six businesses, and has been awarded five patents.
Mark has consulted for several companies in the areas of management, strategy, efficiency, branding, image, and revenue growth. He continues to develop skills and knowledge in many areas and believes that a person can do or learn anything if they set their mind to it.
Mark enjoys the outdoors, waterskiing, mountain biking, hiking, family, animals, good conversation, and hopes one day to achieve the lifestyle enjoyed by the family Labradoodle.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class.
