English for Emergency Medical Services

This course introduces and reinforces basic English grammar, punctuation, proper word usage, and writing techniques to support clear, effective, and well-organized patient care report narratives completed by emergency personnel.

Emphasis is placed on accuracy, clarity, and professional documentation standards used in emergency medical settings.

Program Preparation

This course is a prerequisite for the Paramedic program.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class.

After logging in, follow these steps to register for Continuing Education courses in the MYBTECH portal:

  1. Log in to the MyBTECH portal.
  2. Click the Continuing Education tab.
  3. Select Register for CE.
  4. Choose Add/Drop Courses.
  5. Change TERM to Continuing Education.
  6. Enter the registration code listed with the class dates to find your course.
  7. Select Add and complete payment.
