Chicken and the Brine
Chicken and the Brine
Want to know the secret to juicy, flavorful chicken? It starts with the brine!
In this hands-on community education class, join Chef Rex Davidsavor as he goes through the basics of brining and how a simple combination of salt, seasonings, and aromatics can transform an everyday chicken. Your instructor will demonstrate how to prepare a brine, properly brine a whole chicken, and break down a chicken into individual cuts.
You’ll also sample brined and roasted chicken so you can taste the difference for yourself. Then it’s your turn! Each participant will break down a whole chicken and leave class with:
- A reusable 2-gallon Cambro container, perfect for brining at home.
- Your prepared brine to continue the process at home.
- Your personally fabricated raw chicken, ready to brine and cook.
Come ready to learn, taste, and discover how a little brine can make a big difference!
