Historic Downtown Walking Tour - 9:30 - 11 am

Step back in time and discover the rich history of Logan’s charming downtown on this one-mile guided walking tour.

We begin at the Logan Visitors Center on 200 North and Main Street, where the story of Cache Valley’s earliest settlers unfolds. As we stroll down Main Street, you’ll hear about Logan’s pioneering entrepreneurs and the businesses that shaped the valley’s growth.

Learn about the city’s vibrant early theater scene and stop in at the iconic Bluebird Candy Company for a sweet sample from one of Utah’s oldest confectioners.

We’ll explore the elegant Thatcher–Young Mansion, admire the beautifully renovated Logan Tabernacle, and make our way back toward the historic Cache County Courthouse.

For those interested, arrangements can be made to include a visit to the nearby Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum on Federal Avenue—an unforgettable stop filled with local artifacts and pioneer treasures.

Come walk, learn, and experience the heart of historic Logan!

The tour is about a mile long. Bring good walking shoes and water!

Meet at the Old Historic Courthouse, 200 North and Main Street, inside by the visitors center.

Historic Downtown Home Walking Tour - 7 - 8:30 pm

Discover the grace and history of the homes in Logan’s Historic District.

This guided walk showcases some of the city’s most beautiful homes—each with its own story to tell of early settlers, local leaders, and family life in a growing community.

We’ll admire distinctive architecture, visit a beautifully landscaped property, and stop at one of the neighborhood’s early Presbyterian churches.

This tour offers a look at the people and stories that helped shape Logan’s historic heart.

The tour is 90 minutes long and covers 1 mile on flat sidewalks, grass, and roads. Bring comfortable walking shoes and water.

Meet at the Logan House at 136 West 100 North.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class. (Policy 900.920)
