HeartCode PALS
HeartCode Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
HeartCode Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a web-based, self-directed eLearning course that teaches the skills to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children.
Featuring eSimulation technology, HeartCode PALS allows students to assess and treat pediatric patients in a virtual clinical setting. Students apply their knowledge to make real-time assessments and treatment actions while completing their PALS training.
HeartCode provides immediate feedback and debriefing on students’ performance.
- Online, self-directed eLearning with eSimulation scenarios
- In-person skills practice and testing with a PALS instructor (required)
- Real-time feedback, debriefing, and performance review during training
Students have 30 calendar days to complete both the online and skills components of this course.
Upon successful completion of the online portion, students must schedule a skills practice and testing session with a PALS instructor.
