HeartCode PALS

Emergency

Description

HeartCode Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is a web-based, self-directed eLearning course that teaches the skills to recognize and prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children. Featuring eSimulation technology, HeartCode PALS provides students the ability to assess and treat pediatric patients in a virtual clinical setting. Students apply their knowledge to make real-time assessments and treatment actions while completing their PALS training. HeartCode provides immediate feedback and debriefing on students’ performance. Students will have 30 calendar days to complete this course (both the online and the skills components). At the successful completion of the online portion, students will be required to schedule a skills practice and testing with a PALS instructor.
