Investing in Real Estate
Dive into the fundamentals of property investment and learn how to build financial freedom through real estate. This class explores financing options, partnerships, and strategies such as house flipping, buy-and-hold investments, and navigating distressed properties.
Students will uncover real estate myths, understand cash flow, appreciation, and taxes, and learn how to find great deals, manage properties, hire contractors, and avoid common pitfalls.
Mark Christensen was raised in Willard, Utah, with six siblings. He entered the real estate industry over 27 years ago, earning his license in the late 1990s before moving into real estate investing and owning multiple rental properties throughout Northern Utah.
Mark has extensive experience working with For Sale By Owners and properties that are not perfect. He specializes in helping buyers and sellers understand home value, create instant equity, and leverage real estate for long-term financial growth.
Throughout his career, Mark has personally owned commercial real estate including a hotel, restaurant, and gas station, and at one time managed 24 rental doors.
He is knowledgeable about resources available to help buyers secure financing—even with less-than-perfect credit.
Mark lives in Box Elder County with his family and pets on a small farm. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hiking, and riding side-by-sides with his wife. He takes great pride in helping clients achieve their real estate goals.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class. (Policy 900.920)
