Course Instructor

Instructor: Amelia Zilles

Amelia Zilles was raised in South Central Kentucky and now calls Cache Valley home. She attended Utah State University, where she earned a degree in Outdoor Product Design & Development in 2023. Her degree led her to work in a range of cut and sew shops and design studios in Logan, where she honed her skills in soft good design and construction.

She appreciates thoughtful design and slow craftsmanship and loves helping others discover the satisfaction of making things by hand.

When she's not at the sewing machine, you'll likely find Amelia skiing the Beav, spending time on the river, or working on a knitting project.
