Sewing Skills Series: Repairing Rips (CE)

Description

If you have entry-level sewing skills and would like to learn how to repair pants or shorts that have ripped or have holes, this class is for you! Participants will learn the basics of how to repair rips and holes. Each participant must bring a clean pair of pants or shorts to repair in class (multiple if time allows).

Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds, in whole or in part, will be given on or after the first day of class.

Instructors

Tom Chandler is the founder of the TechMentors, a computer training and consulting organization. He holds an MBA with a focus on IT Management. He has worked on multiple database and IT projects for organizations such as Visa, Seagate, Stanford, and Bridgerland.  He has also taught courses in Microsoft Project and other Microsoft programs.

Michelle Dillon has managed regional and national projects for the Medicare program for more than 24 years as program manager, project manager, and technical advisor. She holds degrees in education, behavior analysis, and law, and in 2016, she obtained her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.

Schelly Pitcher is a Senior Project Manager at Tecuity, a local software company, with a 25-year tenure in the dynamic field of project management. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies and more recently, pivotal roles in Secretary of State Departments across the United States.  Schelly obtained her Scrum Master Certification in February 2022.
