Venipuncture and Medical Lab Training

Description

This course provides hands-on practice, classroom and laboratory instruction. Lectures are given on basic and advanced phlebotomy, including the healthcare setting, an overview of the human body, blood collection procedures, and special collection procedures. Students have the opportunity to draw blood from classmates and volunteers. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the National Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam (which is not included in the cost).
Students must be 18 years or over to take this course. 

 

Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds, in whole or in part, will be given on or after the first day of class. (Policy 900.920)
