Welding – Beginning Skills

Improve, update, or expand your welding skills in Oxyacetylene Welding and Cutting, Shielded Metal Arc (Stick), Gas Metal Arc (MIG), and maintenance welding.

This course is ideal for students who are just wanting to learn how to start welding. Participants may choose to pursue welding qualifications in mild steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel.

Required Supplies (First Night of Class)

  • Welding Textbook: Basic Welding, Overview, & Maintenance Procedures – Night Class (available at the Bookstore)
  • Welding Kit (available at the Bookstore)
  • Welding gloves
  • Safety glasses
  • Oxyacetylene goggles
  • Pliers

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class.
