Air-Fuel/Wide Range - O2 and Fuel Trim
02 (oxygen Sensors) and Air-Fuel/Wide Range sensors are the vehicle's personal emissions analyzer and are located upstream and downstream in the exhaust system. Working in a tandem, before and after the catalytic converter it compares the readings in order to analyze catalytic efficiency, and whether the vehicle is running rich or lean. These sensors have a profound effect of fuel delivery that is a direct result of Fuel Trim commands.
