Divided into three parts, the certification ensures a systematic and thorough approach to mastering the complexities of wastewater treatment. In the first part, we cover essential information necessary to ace the Grade 1 and Grade 2 wastewater treatment certification exams. Moving forward, the second part of the program delves deeper into the intricacies of wastewater treatment, equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel on the Grade 3 certification exam. Finally, the third part of is dedicated to providing advanced insights and expertise required to conquer the Grade 4 wastewater treatment certification examination.
Refund Policy
Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds, in whole or in part, will be given on or after the first day of class.

Instructor
Dr. Mike McFarland has over 35 years of consulting and teaching experience in municipal wastewater, drinking water, and industrial wastewater treatment. Mike brings a wealth of practical knowledge and
real-world experience in the classroom. Mike is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in the
State of Utah and holds Grade 4 operator certifications in Municipal Wastewater Treatment,
Drinking Water Treatment and Drinking Water Distribution as well as Grade 2 certification in
Biosolids Land Application.
