Description
ASL 1 - Beginning ASL
Welcome to the world of American Sign Language (ASL). This course is designed to introduce you to the basics of ASL. You will learn how to introduce yourself, how to talk about your family, and how to ask questions to help you get to know other people. The course will also cover topics such as cultural awareness. The course is perfect for anyone who wants to learn a new language and communicate with the Deaf community.
ASL 2 - Intermediate ASL
This course will help you continue improving your American Sign Language (ASL) skills, focusing on increasing fluency and accuracy. You will learn more of the grammatical structure in addition to expanding your vocabulary. The course is designed for students who have successfully completed ASL 1 or its equivalent.
Refund Policy
Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds, in whole or in part, will be given on or after the first day of class.

Instructor
Dr. Matt Reynolds started teaching American Sign Language at Bridgerland while obtaining his Deaf Ed. Degree at Utah State University in 2006. Since then, he has taught Deaf and hard-of-hearing students in grades K 12 and higher education. He enjoys being outside playing ultimate frisbee, pickleball, D&D, and board games with his family.
