CLO Open Lab

Description

Students will learn the basics of navigating and creating in CLO, a cutting-edge, 3D fashion design software. Using CLO, students will learn how to create and/or modify 2D pattern pieces, sew pattern pieces together, and use 3D rendering tools to simulate those garments in 3D. Students will have the opportunity to expand their design capabilities, produce faster and more accurate apparel renderings, and obtain skills that industry leaders are actively seeking. Space is limited. This course fulfills credits toward the Outdoor Product Design and Development degree at Utah State University

Objectives:

  • Demonstrate your ability to operate CLO design software.
  • Modify and/or create functioning patterns and 3D apparel renderings in CLO.

  • A minimum of 5 students must register to run the class.

    Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds, in whole or in part, will be given on or after the first day of class.
