Strategic Planning and Meaningful Execution (October 2024)
Description
We can come up with a million ideas of strategies to grow or fix a business. But how do we know if those are the right things to do? How do we know if it is the right time to do them?
Too often we can feel like our leadership decisions are derived by being reactive. We create a new plan or product because we are forced. We implement a new process to put out a fire. We expand because we feel like we’re overloaded. While we may always have some reactive decisions, this workshop is designed to teach business leaders tools for proactive thinking. With these tools, we can be more deliberate and intentional about not only what we do to help our businesses thrive, and why we do it.
In this workshop, we’ll explore how to—
• Understand, define, and communicate the “why” behind business strategy
• Shift to long-term thinking
• Leverage data to support long-term planning and decisions
• Develop planning roadmaps that balance direction with flexibility to adapt
