Bridgerland Technical College

Smoking

The Utah Indoor Clean Air Act contains the law regarding smoking in Utah. The law was made to protect those in Utah from the dangers of secondhand tobacco smoke and was later changed to include e-cigarette vapor. The Act generally prohibits all forms of smoking in all places of public access. This includes all the buildings operating as Bridgerland Technical College. Smoking is also prohibited within 25 feet of any building entranceway, exit, open window, or air intake.

Bridgerland Technical College endorses this law and expects all employees, students, and visitors to comply. See policy 300.341 Smoking for more information.
