Project examples that can be made when learning to weld art pieces.

Welding Metal Art

Learn the fundamentals of creating art using metal and welding techniques. Projects may include metal flowers, sculptures, and other creative works. Students will develop new skills each week through a variety of hands-on projects, culminating in the creation of an original piece.

Instruction includes general safety practices, cutting and grinding techniques, working with heat, and exploring colors and surface effects. Written instructional materials will be provided by the instructor.

Required supplies:

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Long-sleeved work shirts
  • Full-length pants
  • Pliers
  • Clear safety glasses
  • Leather work gloves

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Individuals are responsible for canceling their registration should they not be able to attend. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance. Cancellations received before the first day of class will receive a 100% refund. No refunds will be given on or after the first day of class. (Policy 900.920)
